Olive Garden, housecleaning, and ranting...

It's Alexia's favorite restaurant. So that's where she had her birthday dinner. Since it was her 5th birthday they sang her a special song and she got a whole cake with a candle in it so of course she was pretty excited. She had to have the biggest piece, but only ate the frosting off of it. Andrew on the other hand had to finish every single bite. And he decide to play doggy at the end and lick the crumbs off his plate. Overall she had a really great birthday. She got her Birthday card from her Great Grandma Whittenburg today too! She loves getting cards. She usually carries them around until there isn't much left of them.

The kids also helped me clean the house today. They like to do toilets and spray the mirrors. Of course I scrub the toilet before them so it's already clean by the time they get to do it. They also like changing the laundry. I'll have to take some pics next week when they do it. So all I have to do is put the clothes in the washer since they love to do the rest. And yes they know how to start the dryer too! Alexia even empties the lint.

We decided to let Alexia decide when she wants to get her ears pierced and a couple of weeks ago she told me maybe when I turn 5 I'll get my ears pierced. Then today when she woke up she tells me she wants to get her ears pierced today since she is 5. We took her to Claire's after dinner and the girl there wouldn't do it because it was an hour before closing. Something about having to fill out all the paperwork and then pierce the ears and then she wouldn't have enough time for closing. I'm not an idiot. Stores can't do closing until they are closed. And it doesn't take more than a few minutes to sign the papers and pierce the ears. She just didn't want to do anything. She even told me when we walked in that she had been there for 3 hours and hadn't sold anything yet. So then she turns down a gauranteed sale!

But other than that we had a fun day.
